The choice would depend on what whether you want to be in a highly client facing role, liaising with the creative & strategic teams and clients, to ensure that projects run smoothly from start to finish, attending client meetings, presenting creative work, etc. or doing more of the strategic thinking, researching the market and coming up with ideas, concepts and strategies.

To enter into this sector, you should ideally have a degree. The subject isn't highly important, however you may find marketing and advertising related qualifications useful. Any work experience in a client facing, marketing, administration or project management type role would also be beneficial.
